Hey, I was updating my phones OS and I notice that I'm now on Android 4.1.2. My phone tells me that's the latest update but I know that 4.2.2 is out.

The tool we made to upgrade 4.1 mesh surfaces to the new 4.2 format works well, but the way it showed itself as an immediate dialog could cause some rendering deadlocks in the editor. So we changed it to a less intrusive warning, which will encourage you to run the tool yourself via the ‘Project > Tools > Upgrade Mesh Surfaces…’ entry.

The Gradle team is pleased to announce Gradle 4.2. First and foremost, progress has been made to improve Gradle's support for building native applications. The first outcome is parallel task execution for native compilation and linking tasks by default. This has reduced build times for native performance scenarios by as much as half.
