It doesn't matter what the color code is because if it's been resprayed, the body shop is going to need to paint it to match and fade it. Paint fades over time so a good body shop should be able to match it. (And a bad body shop will leave you with a multi-colored nightmare).
I also have a standalone plug-in Schwaben unit from ECS Tuning (made by Foxwell). It can read and reset BMW diagnostic codes. BMW E90 models utilize an engine coolant temperature sensor and an engine oil pressure switch. The sensors can fail electrically, a fault code will be stored and the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) will be illuminated. You may also have a leak from one of the sensors.
