They told me my phone was 4G only (it is), but the home internet is 5G and would work great. Took it home and installed (easy by the way) and only saw 2 bars in the device. Movies and TV buffered like crazy. Tried 5 different spots in the apartment. No change, 2 bars max. Took it work and tried since there is full bars on my phone. I've been a T-Mobile Home Internet user for 1 month now and here is what I've learned. #1 You will either have a good connection with high speeds or you won't. The sooner you accept that it's out of your hands the better.

T-Mobile is good if you don’t have other options, but it can be finicky and have ping spikes or random disconnects if you do any gaming. Zoom calls also sometimes stutter. If you just surf the web and stream, it’s fine. Tmobile home internet should be your last resort.

Call Customer Service at TMO and ask them to activate your T Mobile Home Internet account. They can tell if it has been activated or not. Then when it’s activated, it should work. Also, if you call Customer Service in the very early morning hours, you can always get straight through. Before you do this though, you might first try restarting
